How to picture the Star

Gaze at the picture of the Star on this page with your eyes open (click here for full screen version). Don’t stare hard, but relax and simply be aware of this powerful symbol of love, wisdom and peace. After a while you will be able to go on seeing it even after your eyes are closed.
Another way is to close your eyes and imagine that there is a point of light in front of you. Let it become brighter and bigger with each breath until it is like a sun, though not hurting your eyes of course. When you feel you are able to see the sun you may find you can see a star inside it, perhaps by visualizing the two triangles gradually merging. Keep practising, even if it only appears in flashes.
